I am Ray O'Neill and this web site is a multimedia representation of my PhD thesis. You can read more about the multimedia thesis here.

I am a teacher at St Aidans CBS, Dublin where I have taught since 1983. Over this time I have taught junior Science and Technology, Physics and ICT. I have taken a particular interest in progammes that place a greater focus on the learner as the centre of activity.

Over the years I have been centrally involved, with colleagues, in the development of Vocational Preparation and Training Progrmammes, Transition Year Programmes, Leaving Certificate Applied.

I have taken a particular interest in out of class programmes like Setanta, Comenius, European Schools Programme, Dissolving Boundaries through Technology and Challenge Europa.

I am currently on a career break from St Aidans and I am working with the Further Educational and Training Awards Council (FETAC).
