In LCA, the maths you learn is not like in the normal Leaving Cert course.  You learn things about Tax, Interest, The Euro, Statistics and lots of other things.  You are thought  maths that you would use when you leave school in stead of the maths like Algebra, Areas of shapes, etc.  I think it is a good idea to teach the type of maths in the LCA couse, because I know I hate all the different types of maths and I probably wouldn't use most of them when I leave school anyway.

It is a good idea to teach us about Tax, to prepere use for what we are going to have to pay when we get jobs.
