Junior Science All St Aidans students study a general Science course for three years up to their Junior Certificate examination. Senior students are offered courses in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to Leaving Certificate examination level. The school has three newly built and equipped laboratories able to deliver practical courses in the three sciences to Leaving Certificate level, as well as a sixty-seat tiered demonstration room. First year students, at present, spend one of their Science periods in the computer room developing their Information technology skills. They also carry out a Science project for display at their Parent Teacher meeting. Third year students practice Biology fieldwork techniques on the school grounds. |
