First Year Science Projects
Energy The people in our group were Paul Drumm, Donal Duffy, Mark Ellis, Philip Noonan and David Nugent It is about energy - kinetic energy, potential energy, chemical energy, electrical energy, heat energy and light energy. We got information from a PC and from our science book. We got some pictures from the PC.
	Water Gerry Byrne, Mark Flanagan, Declan Gill, Stephen Nolan, James Kennedy. The project is about water. We found information in Encarta and Science Quest.
Space Ultan Breslin, Mick Mulvey, Freddy Walsh and Luke Geoghegan. The name of our project is space. It is about Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 and Apollo 13. It is about humans in space. It has information we foiuund in Encarta and information we got from books.
	Energy in a Car David Patterson, John Moore, John Quinn, Conn Ó Maolagáin What is it about? Types of energy in a car. We got our information from Encyclopaedia Britannica. We got our pictures there as well.
Energy Daragh Neary, Anthony Fitzpatrick, Kevin Clerkin. The project was about different types of energy. We got information from Encarta, ESB, and science books. We got pictures out of magazines and from the ESB and Encarta.
	The Forces of Nature Robert Munnelly, Sharif Maniar Our project is about how nature operates and how mankind faces it. We explain how disasters begin and how they happen and work. We cover hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes and how much the world cares. We got our information from many places, such as Encarta, library books and the Discovery Channel. All of our pictures came from encyclopaedias like Encarta
